Sophisticated cases require a sophisticated team. In order to win, your team must create leverage and pressure on your opponent. We do that by combining deep legal acumen, FBI-caliber investigative techniques, and financial industry expertise.
The standards required to accuse someone of a federal crime or regulatory violation are shockingly low. For the accused, this creates a sense of stress and doom punctuated by fear, panic, and uncertainty. We firmly stand between the accused and the federal government. In doing so, we instill courage, calm, and certitude within the accused. We despise wrongful convictions, and we believe in the power of jurors to prevent them. When the government cannot eliminate every single reasonable doubt in its accusation, we will unleash that juror power by forcing the government into the crucible of trial.
Unfortunately, there are bad companies, bad people, and bad public employees in our society. Whether with evil intent, just plain carelessness, or something in between, these wrongdoers harm others. Those harmed usually suffer from pain, anger, grief, and sorrow. Money can never completely compensate for the injustice suffered. But we try to force the wrongdoers to pay money for every bit of harm they cause others. And for the truly evil or callously indifferent? We also seek to punish those kinds of wrongdoers to the maximum extent allowed by civil law.

As the Proverb goes: iron sharpens iron, one person sharpens another. So do Stephen Green and Jeff Clark. They have built GreenClark Law Firm on the foundation that fighting for those in need of justice is not just a job, it is a privileged calling. And it’s personal for each of them.
For Mr. Green, fighting for the accused became a calling when the government went after his family. When he was 19 years old, his cousin was prosecuted for a serious federal drug offense. The only person standing between her and a decades-long prison sentence was her defense attorney—an outstanding advocate that fought tirelessly for her freedom. His advocacy forever changed her life, and after that sentencing hearing, Mr. Green resolved to do the same: he made it his life calling to stand next to the accused, ensuring that clients’ rights are protected zealously and that their stories are told. Mr. Green has served as lead counsel in more than 400 federal criminal cases—he is intolerant of injustice, and he knows what it takes to get the best possible results.
Mr. Clark is likewise intolerant of injustice. After becoming a Texas CPA, serving as a CFO of a publicly traded company, and working as a hedge fund analyst, Mr. Clark was appointed as a Special Agent for the Federal Bureau of Investigation. The first thing he did as an FBI Agent was swear an oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States. He still upholds that oath—including to the Seventh Amendment’s promise that those harmed by the injustice of evil, reckless, or careless wrongdoers can present their civil case to a jury to obtain justice for the harm they’ve suffered. With respect to defending the accused, Mr. Clark sat across from defense attorneys frequently, and the truth is that too many of those attorneys were lazy and unconcerned with their clients’ freedom. Observing that indifference firsthand motivated Mr. Clark to go to law school and become the advocate that provides his clients with the excellent representation that justice demands.
We do our own investigative work and we drive our cases towards success by developing facts that help our clients win. Further, with client consent, we routinely affiliate with trusted, sharp and like-minded attorneys and experts to create a formidable legal force multiplier. Everything we do is underscored by our commitment to respect, accountability, and civility. And although we cannot promise any particular legal outcome, we can make this promise–to give our best towards forging justice for our clients.
